LogicMail 2.0 has a fully internationalized user interface, but the resource files need to be updated so it will actually display correctly in all the supported languages. As translations are updated, they will be added into the beta builds.
The resource files for LogicMail 2.0 can be found here: Updated versions of all the translations are needed so that LogicMail 2.0 can be made ready for release. Once an updated translation is ready, please attach it to this ticket so that it can be merged in. Feature request. It would be nice to be able to search for messages within a particular IMAP/POP folder, or even recursively in multiple folders. I use IMAP and do not need POP functionality, thought that might be something to think about. The items that I would wish to search for, in order of importance to me, would be the From/To/CC/BCC name/address, Subject, Date, and the message body. For the From/To/CC/BCC field, I would expect to be able to put in both addresses or the name portion. Subject should be pretty simple. For the Date, suggestions include; Today, Yesterday, Before X, After X, Between X and X. For the message body, I don't think this would be possible for POP, but I'll leave that up to you. For pattern matching, I'm not sure how complicated we want to get. Case sensitivity? Simple regular expressions? Arguments? (X AND Y, but NOT Z) Simple is probably better. There will be the need for a temporary "Search Results" window, so that the user can sort through their results to narrow down the exact message that they were looking for. |

Currently I can't send emails directly from the address book on my Pearl 8120 because I don't have BES or BIS with email configured. I can only compose them and save drafts. It would be absolutely incredible if that option in the menu could be set to connect with the LogicMail interface instead of the BIS/BES version of email access. |

I'm on a Tour 9630 with OS 5.0.0.732 (VZW) and I've currently got LM 2.0.0.258 (Beta) installed. I leave LM open most of the day. Occasionally I get an Unhandled Exception error when I close LM and click yes on the dialog that asks if I want to close all open connections. My event log is in the attached file. The unhandled exception message occurred at approximately 10:10 (the latest entry in the log is at 10:07). |
