Hello, I am having a problem getting LogicMail to synchronize with my mDaemon iMAP server. The BB is a Pearl 8130. The OS version is 4.3.0.81 (Platform 3.1.0.40). I performed a fresh installation of LogicMail 1.0.1 this morning. Created a new account, using iMAP for the protocol, incoming server as mail.noeca.net, no ssl, port 143, username and password, no Use MDS Proxy". When I select the account to sync, the connection is initially opened for approximately 10-11 seconds then closes. A 2nd retry repeats the same thing. The 3rd retry throws the error "Unable to reopen connection". The mDaemon server is allowing the login and appears to process what is being requested, however none of the folders come down to the LogicMail client. I have attempted synchronization about 20 or so times and also tried a different account, deleting accounts and readding them to no avail.
I turned on debugging and have attached (Betty_LogicMail.txt) the results of 4 particular connection attempts from today. Also, attached (Betty_mDaemon.txt) is the coinciding logged iMAP connection attempts.
I have been successful in getting LogicMail to work on 3 different Blackberry Curve 8330s. Is there something specific about the Pearl 8130 that you have seen to be a concern and are aware of how to workaround? The Pearl is able to pick up email from our mDaemon server using the built in email feature. We block email from the outside world through our SMTP server. Hence, the need for LogicMail so the from email and reply to email addresses can be different.
